Nedbank Banking Case Study.
Nedbank, one of the four largest South African banks with over 700 branches and more than 5 million clients launched ‘135 Rivonia Road’, Sandton, Johannesburg – the first building in South Africa to be awarded a 4-Star Green Star rating. Embodying Nedbank’s commitment to minimising its impact on the environment, from environmentally friendly construction materials through to thoughtful interior design effects and end to end building operations – everything about Nedbank’s corporate head office is green!
Naturally in tune with the philosophy of the “Green Bank”, Nedbank turned to AllSense to help convey this ‘Nature in Harmony’ theme. After a series of client consultations, AllSense sensory marketing team and ScentAir perfumers brought to life a beautiful fragrance composition consisting of such floral, fruit notes as orange Valencia, bergamot tea, plum wine, violet, lavender and orange flowers. This delicate and memorable scent medley is infused through the properties HVAC (Air con system or Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) and delivered throughout the grand open atrium areas of the building. ScentAir proprietary fragrance diffusion technology is used to ensure a safe and consistent service to Nedbank. This comforting fragrance profile has produced a positive response from banking clients and banking employees alike.
“We have received so many positive comments on how pleasant the atmosphere is in our head office. We specially appreciate the significance of using a fragrance that helps complement our corporate identity and we look forward to rolling this out further within our branch network!” ~Facilities Manager, Nedbank Nedbank, 135 Rivonia Road’, Sandton
